When measuring for the width, measure your window horizontally in three places from outside edge to edge of the window frame: top, middle, and bottom. Record the narrowest measurement, and find the size with a width closest to your measurement. The size you order will come with a 1/2-inch deduction to ensure a proper fit in your windowsill. For the height, measure from top to bottom, and this will be the size to order.

This blind can be mounted both inside and outside of the window frame. For an inside mount, the window frame needs to be at least 2 inches deep to install as a partial inside mount. For an outside mount, add at least 1/2-inch or more to your measurement to ensure coverage of the desired area. The blind can be stopped at any position within the window frame, as it is longer than your recorded measurement.
